Bafta win for operation ouch

Maverick’s CBBC medical series has won at the Children’a BAFTAs for the second year in a row. The show picked up the award for ‘Best Factual’,  repeating last year’s win.

Presenters Dr. Chris and Dr. Xand Van Tulleken were on hand to pick up the award along with members of the production team. The show follows the twin docs as they experiment their way through the fascinating world of medicine and biology, demystifying medical procedures and celebrating the wonders of the human body. The show faced stiff competition on the night from Junior Vets, Newround: Frontline Families and Deadly Pole to Pole.
