Maverick are a partner in the development and delivery of the Birmingham Ormiston Academy opening in September 2011.
The academy is unique in offering a specialist digital media, creative and performing arts curriculum for 14-19 year olds based on the successful BRIT school model for creative and performing arts.
The Academy is co-sponsored by the Ormiston Trust and by Birmingham City University. Maverick share the ambitions of the sponsors to create a school that is open to the widest diversity of people and talent.
We have brought a deep knowledge and industrial experience of talent development, education, mainstream, collaborative and digital media to the partnership.
We are looking forward to the next 18 months of the school design and development, and to the opening of the academy doors to the aspiring talent of Birmingham and the West Midlands
